Higher Education SPROUT Project
Overall Implementation Goals, Strategies, and Framework
The core foundation stones planned by the University for the Higher Education SPROUT Project include the three education goals and teaching and research features of the four main focuses. Phase one implementation goals for key issues determined based on the University’s internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats, are as follows：
To enhance students’ competitiveness in the workplace
- Practical learning for better alignment of theory and practice
- Professional practice for innovation and creativity
- Language and exchange rooted in international mobility
- Adding value to expertise through smart and digital technology towards 4.0
- Innovative teaching to improve students’ learning interest and results
- Interdisciplinary professional knowledge, digital information technology, industry-academia collaboration, and cross-regional connection to global networks

Framework
In the framework to “Implement teaching innovation and improve teaching quality” and “Develop university features,” projects and measures aim to achieve interdisciplinary talent cultivation and feature development based on “Interdisciplinary professional knowledge,” “Digital information technology,” “Industry-academia connections,” and “Cross-regional connection to global networks.
